THIS IS MY CAR...A 1994 PONTIAC FORMULA. YOUR REGULAR EVERYDAY 'GROCERY GETTER'. It's has the LT1 engine that was first put in corvettes in the late 80's. It's a 2nd generation small block chevy engine 5.7 Liter(350 cubic inches) rated at 275 horsepower (stock). It's the engine that struck fear in the 5.0 mustang crowd that was tearing up the streets at the time! :-D It's got the customary K&N cold air intake kit, MAC shorty headers, ACCEL racing ignition including coil, Custom TAYLOR plug wires, complete 'American Thunder' FLOWMASTER exhaust. It's also lowered 1-1/2 inches all the way around using JAMEX lowering springs, and KYB 8 way adjustable shocks. The car rolls on 275-45-50's mounted on expensive and always cool ENKEI 'win' wheels. Only one distributor is authorized to carry the original WIN wheels in the US(RKsport). Cruising is more enjoyable with the Pioneer CD Player, JL audio speakers, and MTX subwoofer. It looks black in the pic but it's actually 'purple pearl metallic', at least that is what GM calls it. It's a cross between charcoal grey and purple. |

| IT'S ONE OF A DYING BREED! THERE WILL BE NO MORE FIREBIRDS AND CAMAROS IN THE YEAR 2003! The wonderful company of General Motors has decided to discontinue the cars because of low sales. Something to do with nobody wanting real 'muscle cars' and every thing to do with people buying more SUV's and big trucks. GM said that it's due to poor sales. Well, GM very very rarely put out a commercial with these cars in them so how did they expect to sell them? WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR A CAMARO OR FIREBIRD!? Probably never. How about for a suburban or chevy truck.......probably several every day. Another piece of american history gone...maybe forever. This car will remain in my family until my kid learns how to drive.....myabe one day he'll be able to show up at his prom or school or whatever in a 'classic' muscle car. GM will probably bring it back as a 4 cyl frontwheel version |
